SADRAA guides
Size Guide
At SADRAA, every garment has its own silhouette, construction and intended fit. Some pieces are structured, while others are relaxed, layered, reversible or designed as Free Size.
For the most accurate fit, always refer to the measurements shown on the individual product page.
Understanding Our Measurements
All measurements are provided in inches unless stated otherwise.
Measurements refer to the finished garment, not body measurements.
Garments are measured while laid flat and then calculated as follows:
- Chest: Measured from armpit to armpit and multiplied by two.
- Shoulder: Measured across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Garment Length: Measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem.
- Sleeve Length: Measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
- Waist: Measured around the narrowest part of the garment, where applicable.
- Hem: Measured around the bottom opening of the garment, where relevant.
Only the measurements applicable to a particular garment may be displayed.
How to Choose Your Size
- Select a similar jacket, waistcoat or garment that already fits you comfortably.
- Lay it flat without stretching the fabric.
- Measure it using the method described above.
- Compare those measurements with the measurements provided on the SADRAA product page.
- Consider what you intend to wear underneath the garment. Allow additional room if you plan to layer it over shirts, kurtas, knitwear or other clothing.
Do not choose a size based only on the size label. The actual garment measurements provide the most reliable comparison.
Understanding SADRAA Size Labels
Standard Sizes
Sizes such as S, M, L and XL identify the garment’s labelled size. Fit and measurements may differ between designs, so please check the individual product measurements before ordering.
Combined Sizes
Labels such as S/M, M/L or L/XL indicate that the design may comfortably accommodate more than one conventional size because of its cut, adjustability or relaxed construction.
The product measurements remain the best guide when selecting the garment.
Free Size
Free Size means that the garment is produced in one defined size, usually with a relaxed, flexible, wraparound or adjustable silhouette.
It does not mean that the garment is guaranteed to fit every body type. Please review the measurements and fit notes on the product page before ordering.
Fit Descriptions
- Slim Fit: Designed to sit closer to the body.
- Regular Fit: Designed for a balanced, comfortable fit.
- Relaxed Fit: Designed with additional room and ease.
- Oversized Fit: Intentionally designed with a larger and looser silhouette.
- Adjustable Fit: Includes features such as ties, wraps or flexible closures.
Handcrafted and Upcycled Garments
Some SADRAA pieces are created using upcycled, limited or individually sourced textiles. Minor differences in placement, construction or measurement may occur and are part of the garment’s individual character.
Any important variation will be mentioned on the relevant product page.
